Jacinta Estes, School Counselor
6th Graders A-L and 8th Graders
Hello and Welcome Back! My name is Jacinta Estes and this is my second year at Moore Square. Before moving to Raleigh, I was a counselor in Winston-Salem, NC for 6 years. This year I serve as the 8th grade counselor but I am available to anyone who needs me. I attended Winston-Salem State University (GO RAMS!) where I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor Biology. I then attended graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University (GO RAMS!) where I graduated with a Masters in Counselor Education.
I look forward to meeting and working with you all. I am here to help you achieve success. So no matter what you may need help with...it could be organization, conflict resolution, talking about careers and high school, or even just to talk about your feelings I am here for you. You can get a pass from your teachers or set up an appointment. My 8th graders, be on the lookout for special announcements concerning high school and registration as well as educational opportunities.
I have been married for 6 years and now I have a happy, inquisitive and playful 3 year old. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, listening to music, watching movies, playing with my son and reading to him.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to call 919-664-5743 or email me at email@example.com
Brooke Depinto, School Counselor
6th Graders M-Z, 7th Graders
Hello Mountain Lions! My name is Brooke DePinto and, like some of you, I am new to Moore Square this year! I was born in NC and started my school counseling career here, but have been working in Virginia and SC for the last 8 years. As a true Tar Heel, I am happy to be home. I received my B.A. in Psychology and Communication Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill and my M.A. in School Counseling from Appalachian State University. This is my 13th year working as a school counselor and my 9th in Middle School.
I am excited to be at Moore Square and even more excited to get to know and work with many of you. I know middle school provides exciting new opportunities and challenges and I am here to help guide you through as you grow academically and personally. I will see all of the 7th graders and many of the 6th graders in classroom guidance lessons throughout the year. I am also available to see you individually if you make an appointment or come with a pass from your teacher.
A little about me. . . I have been married for 10 years and have 3 four-legged children, my 3 dogs (Abby, Lucy and Bella). I love to sleep, eat yummy food, read by the water, and watch Tar Heel sports. If I can help you, please give me a call at 919-664-5744 or send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
